Tampa Hall manufactures structural wood
framing systemsengineered
roof trusses, wall panels and
floor systems. These engineered building components are also available together as a complete
framing package.
We supply these packages to both our domestic Ontario and export markets, principally the North-East U.S., especially New York State, as well as Japan.
For our domestic market we provide components with or without site labour for
single-family residences, multiple-family housing and institutional buildings such as retirement residences. The main advantage with the components + labour approach is that we add value to your project by taking care of all the management and coordination on the framing (no material shortages and no disputes to resolve between the framers and the lumber yard). And we clean up our waste materials from the site after our framing work is done as part of our service.
Our building components are also available via our extensive network of dealers. Call for the dealer nearest you.
We were incorporated in 1960. Our history in engineered building components goes back even further. A founding partner firm, in collaboration with what was then known as Central Mortgage and Housing Corporation
(CMHC), built one of Canada’s
first gusseted wood trussed rafters (roof truss) in 1953. Its span was 24 feet. Today we can manufacture up to and including 84-foot wood trusses; something that was almost unimaginable back in 1953.
Continuing to build on its pioneering heritage in Canadian woodframe construction, Tampa Hall developed, patented and copyrighted the pre-insulated (R-24), air-sealed, 2X4
R-Wall® during the 1980’s.
